Where we are
Villa San Donato is in Vallerano, a really small Tuscany village in the country of Murlo, only 17 kilometers south of Siena, on the border between the Val di Merse and the Val di Farma. Coming from either north or south take the SS223 Siena-Grosseto highway, exit at Fontazzi at the 51 kilometer mark, and continue for Casciano di Murlo. Once you arrive there, which is the closest town to the Villa (and where you should stock up on all your necessities), follow the indications for Vallerano or the Residenza d’Epoca (the sign with the characteristic yellow and black colors). After the small villages of Poggio Brucoli, Poggio Lodoli and Santo Stefano and just after the sign for Santo Stefano, do not enter in the village, but turn right onto the dirt road. Continue for approximately 2 kilometers and finally, on your left you will see Villa San Donato welcoming you.
