Rural tourism in Tuscany

Another form of appreciating our region, rural tourism gives an interactive vacation allowing you to experience our tuscan country lifestyle, and to taste the fruit of your labour. In November when the olives are ripe and the autumn colors of orange, brown and red paint the landscape, you will have the chance to have a different kind of vacation giving you the opportunity to feel that you lived in and not just saw our country. Also you will find yourself saving money while having a great time. During the stay you will participate in the olive harvest and because of your help you will have the opportunity to rent the Villa at a special price.

Possible itinerary:  We meet at 9 a.m. in comfortable work clothes. About 11 to 11:30 we will take a break for a typical Italian pheasant breakfast of bread, salami and a glass of wine. At 1 p.m. we take a lunch break and you can request a menu characteristic of our area, consisting of: typical senese soups, a bean soup, pasta with wild boar sauce, assorted meats and cheeses and characteristic desserts. Relax until 3 p.m. when we start again and, if you would like, you can pick until 5 p.m. At the end of the week we will go to the olive press and than back at the Villa we will taste the new oil, “l’olio novo”, with some bruschetta. It is your decision which and how many days you would like to work, (which will influence on the cost of your vacation). There could be possible variation of the program based on the weather.
