After the careful reconstruction of an ancient church Villa San Donato was born. The main nave has become an enormous hall, and its surrounding annexed rooms transformed into a kitchen, laundry room, and five lovely rooms with bath. The surrounding lands today make up the garden with the gazebo and barbecue, the swimming pool and the beautiful olive groves.  Every room has heat and air conditioning.

The great hall of the villa is airy, bright and big enough to host all the guests around the dinner table, or in front of the fireplace on the cold days of winter, or even on the sofas for a moment of chit-chat and relaxation. The beamed ceiling has been entirely reconstructed and gives the room a majestic but warm and welcoming feeling at the same time.

Behind the great hall, in the old sacristy, you will find a well-equipped kitchen, with every appliance you need, like a dishwasher, microwave, and many different dishes, pots and pans for the preparation of your preferred plates.

The rooms, all five with shower, heat/air conditioning and TV sat, are furnished in different colors.  Each room has a "dolce" (sweet) name, coming directly from the Senese confectionary tradition.

Around the villa the garden is full of beautiful floral colors and aromas in every season, allowing one to relax in the hammock or on the park benches, or to enjoy the coolness in the shade of the gazebo, and a meal or a snack, maybe even cooked on the barbecue.

A beautiful sunset can be seen from the swimming pool located at a higher point than the Villa. It is surrounded by olive trees and set in an evocative landscape of vineyards and woods that stretch as far as the eye can see. Such a position gives total privacy. The night lighting system allows one to take a swim after the sunset, under the starlit sky, when the peace and tranquillity of the place reach their best. The swimming pool is open from the April 30^th to September 30^th and lounge equipment and umbrellas are included.
